Dr. B. Peter El-Dahdah is a practicing prosthodontist based out of Houston, Texas and is the newest member of Houston Prosthodontic Specialists. A graduate of the Ohio
State University, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from their College of Dentistry in 2012. He was awarded the Dr. Harold E. Hal and Faith B. Barlow Dental
Research Scholarship and completed an externship at THE CLINIC in DIFC, Dubai, UAE. Dr. El-Dahdah was awarded his certificate in Prosthodontics and Master of Science degree upon completion of his prosthodontic residency program in 2016 at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. He completed a residency rotation at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Department of Head and Neck Surgery. He has been the lead
restorative dentist of his clinic in the Sugar Land community and has furthered his implant training through Implant Direct and Zest Academy continuing education courses since then.

Dr. El-Dahdah believes that each patient should be treated like family. He has been commended numerous times for his thoroughness and gentle care that is tailored to each patient’s specific needs and wants. It is his priority to improve every patient’s oral health and give them back the smile they deserve.

Dr. El-Dahdah is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society where his advice is often sought out among his network of general dentists and specialists. He is fluent in English and Arabic. He enjoys spending his spare time with family, playing tennis, skiing, traveling, and trying different cuisines.

Dr. Dimitri Haber embarked on his dental career at a young age, motivated by his passion for both art and science. Though many of his family members were in a myriad of other professions, from law and business to architecture and medicine, by age 7 he had already made up his mind that the dental field was his calling. As he grew older, his love for the profession was amplified by shadowing at multiple practices, including his mother’s, Dr. Viviane Haber. While attending La Sierra University in Riverside, California for his undergraduate degree in healthcare management, he pursued membership and an active role in the La Sierra University pre-dental club. Due to his social acumen, he became the social vice president of the club and was placed in charge of the multitude hands on events, lunch and learns, and collaborative efforts with the local Tri-County Dental Society and dental schools. Dr. Haber continued his drive for service and education with the intro to dent class, which he became a teacher’s assistant the following year.

During his predoctoral education and training at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Haber took many continuing education seminars in dental photography, fixed prosthodontics and occlusion, and business management. He continued his pursuit of excellence by becoming the California Dental Association student representative for his class and became actively involved in his local dental society as well. Along with his dental degree training, Dr. Haber took the initiative and took a multitude of advanced selective classes including gold foil placement, research, and esthetics. In addition, he became an active student member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, and the American Society for Dental Aesthetics where he was one of the Smigel Scholars in 2019.

Dr. Haber continued pursuing excellence by taking an additional three years of prosthodontic residency training at Loma Linda University, where he was chief resident. He currently has gained membership in the American Society for Dental Aesthetics and the Academy for Sports Dentistry and is both pursuing diplomat status in the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry and membership in the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Additionally, he has gained membership in the American College of Prosthodontics and is now a graduated and certified prosthodontist. Dr. Haber is actively challenging the American Board of Prosthodontics for board certification and has completed his Master of Science in Dentistry.

Due to his hunger to help others, he is constantly involved in community outreach events including CDA Cares, various mission trips in the country and around the world, and youth educational programs. Because of his specialization into prosthodontics, he has become involved in various life-changing head and neck cancer cases and has restored the orofacial defects that were presented. While traumatic cases are considered a great challenge to many, Dr. Haber is very much motivated and willing to tackle a case to provide the person a greater self-worth and function.
